On behalf of all of the professional volunteers of the Maryland Wing Group III of the Civil Air Patrol,  we welcome you to our website. Each of our members exemplifies the Civil Air Patrol's Core Values: Integrity, Volunteer Service, Excellence and Respect; and strives to make our Group a viable, high performing component of the Maryland Wing and the Civil Air Patrol.

 

Among these web pages you will find information on the activities of Group III's eleven (11) Maryland squadrons:  Annapolis Composite Squadron, Apollo I Senior Squadron, Arundel Composite Squadron, Bowie Composite Squadron, Calvert Cadet Squadron, Charles Composite Squadron, College Park Composite Squadron, Esperanza MS Flight, Hyde Field Flight, Spring Ridge MS Flight, and St Mary's Composite Squadron.

 

 If you are interested in joining this worthwhile organization, we encourage you to visit a squadron located near your home, work or school. We believe that membership in the Civil Air Patrol offers opportunities to participate in numerous activities that will satisfy a variety of interests.

 

Group III is one of three major subordinate units of the Maryland Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Founded December 1, 1941, the Civil Air Patrol fulfills a three-fold mission in service to its members' community, state and nation.

 

 

JOIN THE CAP

 

Are you between the ages of 12 and 112 and have an interest in aviation, emergency services, search and rescue, leadership, serving your community and mentoring others?  CAP may have something for you.

 

The Civil Air Patrol is made up of volunteer members, who share many of the interests and are probably not much different than you. I invite you to stop by one of our meetings, and see what we are all about.

 

If you are interested in joining CAP, we encourage you to visit a squadron located near your home, work or school. There are 26 squadrons located throughout Maryland. Membership in the Civil Air Patrol offers opportunities to participate in numerous activities and programs that will satisfy a variety of interests.
