2. Obtain two copies of fingerprints from the Security Forces building on Ellsworth AFB or at the Rapid City Police Department.  We have the fingerprint cards available.

 

3. Submit application, check or money order, and fingerprint cards to Squadron Commander

7. Complete the OPSEC training at https://tests.cap.af.mil/opsec/main.cfm.  eServices login required

 

8. Complete the CAP Online Safety Education (a short quiz follows each module) at https://www.capnhq.gov//CAP.SafetyBriefingApp.Web/SafetyBriefingOnline.aspx, eServices login required

    a. Intro to CAP Safety Program for New Members

    b. Downed Power Lines

    c. Hurricane Preparedness and Awareness

    d. Flooding

 

9. Complete the Cadet Protection Program Training (CPPT), eServices login not required http://members.gocivilairpatrol.com/cap_university/cadet_protection_program_training.cfm

    a. Print pretest

    b. Read CAPR 52-10, CAPs Cadet Protection Policy

    c. Read CAPP 50-3, CPPT Student Guide

    d. Review Cadet Protection Slides

    e. Review pretest, meet with Squadron Commander to discuss/correct score to 100% using references above

    f. Review two scenarios with Squadron Commander

 

10. Complete Equal Opportunity training, eServices login required https://tests.cap.af.mil/EO_Training/Index.cfm

 

11. Complete the Foundations Modules (print and complete quiz after each module and submit to Squadron Commander), eServices login not required, http://www.capmembers.com/cap_university/level_i_foundations_course.cfm
