Civil Air Patrol conducts its Cadet Program in a positive, safe, age-appropriate environment that follows a military model emphasizing Air Force traditions and values. Cadets have opportunities to lead, encounter challenges, and have fun as they work to become “Dynamic Americans and Aerospace Leaders.” CAP policy asserts that safety is a right and there is no place for physical, sexual, or emotional abuse in any of its programs. The CAP Cadet Protection Policy details the standards of practice that apply across all aspect of the program.

Group III continues to emphasize the importance of Equal Opportunity Training. Though this is now a requirement of Level I for Senior Members, many of our seasoned members haven’t taken the course. In addition, it is Group III’s goal to have ALL members, including cadets, participate in this training. Schedule 10-15 minutes of professional development training in your unit to complete this task. The following link is for the slides for EO training:
